This Independence Day, show your patriotism and be a voice for animal rights and freedom by joining the Blue Cross of India, Madras, at its signature annual event – The Great Indian Dog Show.
A fun evening that celebrates all ‘desi’ pooches, the highlight will be the Whacky Dog Show, where four-legged (sometimes three) participants are judged based on categories like waggiest tail, best smile and craziest name! An adoption drive will also take place, where abandoned or orphaned puppies, kittens and dogs will get a chance to find their “forever” homes.

Venue – Phoenix MarketCity, Velachery
This charitable cause will popularize the concept of #AdoptDontShop and also raise funds for hospital and shelter — located over a four-acre campus. BCI is home to around 2,000 animals and it costs Rs. 5 crore a year to operate.
