34TH ANNUAL SPORTS MEET DIMENSIONS -2019 HELD AT VELAMMAL
34th Annual Sports Meet was celebrated at Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus on 10th August, 2019 in a vibrant manner. The guests of honour were Smt. Sunitha, International Volleyball player and Shri. Sellamuthu, Retd. IAS, Govt. of Tamil Nadu in labour and employment Department. The sports meet started off by lighting the Olympic Torch followed by the solemn oath. Various events like Silambattam, Mass Drill by tiny tots, Mass Dance and self defence act were demonstrated. The exemplary sports achievers were taken on a Victory March. The guest appreciated the management for giving the prime importance to sports and games on par with academics. Beating the retreat by school band students was impressive.
