Reinforcing its commitment to inclusive healthcare, Chennai TwinTech Healthcare Services, has been providing comprehensive eye care for the past five years to elders in old-age homes, residents of mental health rehabilitation centres, and Vedapadasalai students.

During a recent visit to a mental health rehabilitation centres in Tiruvallur & Kanchipuram districts, several residents were found to require spectacles, while others needed further eye evaluation and medical management. TwinTech Healthcare Services took responsibility for coordinating follow-up care and referrals in consultation with the rehabilitation centre authorities

The initiative highlights the often-overlooked eye care needs of people living with mental health conditions and the importance of timely examination, appropriate spectacles and continued medical attention.
