YS Tessellations- Programming with Robocompass
Level -2: Online Workshop
Robocompass is a free software used around the world by school students to learn geometry and programming at the same time. There are only 22 commands to learn and an infinite number of shapes to create.
Note: Participants are requested to use a laptop or a tablet on which they can comfortably use robocompass.
Use of programmable graphing interface like Robocompass is good training for moving on to more powerful graphing/modelling software like AutoCAD, Ansys Fluent, Mathworks, Wolfram Mathematica, MatLab, Maya etc.
Workshop Objective:
- Explore the functions of Robo compass
- Learn five additional commands
- Perform basic graphic designing
