PPG Asian paints Oxygen Concentrations distribution Kundrathur

PPG Asian paints Pvt Ltd has donated ₹35 lacs to Sevalaya for COVID relief work as a part of its CSR initiative. Through this donation, Sevalaya has purchased 38 oxygen concentrators and is making arrangements to distribute them to government hospitals in Tamil Nadu.

The second wave of COVID has affected many people and there is a severe shortage of oxygen in hospitals , to treat the patients.

With the aid of several donors, Sevalaya has been working on rapid relief operations and has so far donated 20 oxygen concentrators to Government Hospitals, Public Health Centres in Tamilnadu.

On  8th Jul 2021 three Oxygen Concentrators of  5ltr capacity were handed over by the officials of PPG Asian Paints, Mr Parthasarathy Plant head, Mr Niranjan Manager HR & Mr Balaganesh Production department  to Dr C P Arunkumar, primary health centre, Kundrathur.

Kundrathur Primary health center, has a 60 bedded COVID care centre. On average around 400 patients were cured and discharged. The Health centre also has 12 sub-centers  handling around 300 outpatients per-day on maternity, emergency care and operates 24/7
