Teynampet resident inducted to “Hall of Fame” by Live4You

Nanditha, the resident of Teynampet, has been inducted into the Hall of Fame by ‘Live4You’, a live streaming platform.  Over the last two years, ‘Live4You’ has been providing opportunities to emerging artists in classical music and dance.  She is one among 27 emerging Carnatic Musicians and 7 Bharatanatyam artists who have been inducted into this prestigious Hall of Fame.  The panel that evaluated the artists included Neyveli Santhanagopalan, S.Sowmya, Nithyasree Mahadevan, Sikkil Gurucharan, Delhi Sunder Rajan, and Neyveli Narayanan and for dance Roja Kannan, Sreelatha Vinod and Rama Vaidyanathan.

A hard-core Chennaite, Nanditha grew up in this quaint neighborhood of Teynampet / Mylapore immersed in its own emotions, traditions, and value streams.  And Carnatic Music formed a significant part of her growing up, December being her favorite month.  Her interest in this genre of music has also been an inheritance and blessing, given that she hails from a family of musicians – maternal lineage including Vidwan Pallavi Doraisami Iyer and Sangeetha Kalanidhi Vidwan Shri Veena Sabesa Iyer.

Nanditha started learning Carnatic music when she was 4 years old and is blessed to be under the tutelage of Vidwan Shri R K Shriram Kumar.  A genius of his own accord RKSK has played a pivotal role in sculpting her repertoire, her manodharmam, and making her concert ready.

Nanditha is in her 12th grade @ Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan.  She has been actively performing full-length Carnatic concerts since April 2021 in reputed Sabhas including Raga Sudha, RR Sabha, Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Giri Fine Arts, and The Chembur Fine Arts Society (Mumbai), Laya Madhuraa, Gayathri Fine Arts, Veenadhari Institute of Music and Fine arts, etc.
