Felicitation Function to honour the meritorious students of CBSE board examination 2020-21

Kola Perumal Chetty Vaishnav Senior Secondary school, organized a Felicitation Function to honour the meritorious students of CBSE board examination 2020-21 and to distribute prizes to the winners of various competitions organized to commemorate the Golden Jubilee year 2021 in the school premises.
The Chief Guest of the function was Shri.Haribabu, Principal, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Chetpet.
Shri. L. Neelakanta Pillai, Director, Vaishnav Group of schools, Shri. T.Ramasubramanian, Principal , Members of the Kavasam Trust and Mr. Balamurugan, the P.T.A member and alumnus, graced the programme.
The function began with an invocation followed by a mesmerizing dance by the students, invoking the blessings of the Lord. Mrs. Uma Narayanan of the English Department welcomed the gathering.
In his speech, the Chief Guest, congratulated the students who had topped the C.B.S.E exam and won prizes in various competitions. He praised the parents for grooming them in the right path and helping them to grow with confidence. He stated that students must excel not only in studies but also in all co- curricular activities.
Shri. L. Neelakanta Pillai, Director, Vaishnav Group of schools, presented the “Seva Ratna Award” to Dr. Gangadharan, Health Educator-PRO, I.C.H Government Children Hospital, Egmore and to Dr. S. Elilarasi, Director and Superintendent of Government Children Hospital, Egmore. A memento was presented to Mr. Balamurugan, the P.T.A member and alumnus.
The Seva Trust team, presented the “Seva Ratna Award”, to the Secretary and Correspondent of the school, Shri. Hitesh Kaanodia. The award was received on his behalf by Shri. L. Neelakanta Pillai, Director, Vaishnav Group of schools.
The Chief Guest presented Endowment prizes to the meritorious students. Prizes were also distributed to the parents, students from various schools and the host school, who had emerged winners in the various competitions.
