Free dental scaling camp

In continuation of our human endeavor and service to the community, VK’s Dental Care T.Nagar has joined hands with B.R. & SONS CHARITABLE TRUST, CHEYYARU, and VASAVI CLUB, Mambalam to conduct a month-long FREE DENTAL HEALTH EXAMINATION, DENTAL SCALING camp for VASAVI CLUB, MAMBALAM members. The camp was inaugurated on 27.03.2021 at VK’s Dental Care T.Nagar.

VASAVI CLUB, MAMBALAM president Mr.B.P.Hariharan, Secretary Mr.S.Vasudevan and Treasurer Mr.P.L.Kamalanathan honored the dental surgeons and inaugurated the camp. Keeping the current COVID-19 pandemic situation in mind free face mask and hand sanitizer was given on behalf of VK’s Dental care. More than 100 VASAVI Club members have registered for the camp.

All patients were asked to wash their hands with soap and use hand sanitizer and were screened for high body temperature by the paramedical staff Ms.Sumithra and Ms.Saipriya prior to entering the clinic. In order to maintain social distancing and sterilization protocols not more than 5 patients were screened and treated per day.  A team of Senior Dental Surgeons at VK’s Dental Care T.Nagar headed by Dr.C.J.Venkatakrishnan and his associates Dr.J.Raghunathan, Dr.Tamanna conducted a comprehensive dental examination. Following which the patients were informed about their dental issues and a complete scaling procedure were done. Oral hygiene instructions and further treatment plan was given to all patients.

The above dental checkup and awareness camp is one of the many free social events organized by the B.R. & SONS CHARITABLE TRUST, CHEYYARU, and VASAVI CLUB, Mambalam throughout the year.
