Celebrating Language
‘Lingua Safari’ is the annual inter-school literary fest of Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Group of Schools. Started as part of the diamond jubilee initiative in the year 2017, its objective is to provide students of classes 6, 7, and 8, a platform to express their creativity and showcase their proficiency in the language of their choice -English, Hindi, Tamil and Sanskrit.
This year students from around 18 schools in the city, and places like Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Cuddalore participated in the different competitions in the Litfest conducted on 17th February 2024 (Saturday) in the T. Nagar branch premises.
The valedictory function was presided over by Mrs. Ramya Kannan, Tamil Nadu Chief of Bureau, The Hindu. The prizes were given away by the Chief Guest and the Dean and Director & Correspondent of PSBB Group of Schools Mrs. Sheela Rajendra. The overall trophy was won by students of P.S. Senior Secondary School, Mylapore, Chennai.
The eventful Fest provided children an exposure to the beauty of languages.
