In their journey promoting Inclusive and Responsible Tourism, PRAKRUTHI KOTINOS Sports with support from India Tourism will explore another Road Less Travelled, by organising 1 Day Bicycling Expedition on Sunday 4 September ’22.

Chennai Meets Madras is the sequel to Madras Day and the 4th in the series of Yuva Tourism that started on 5th June, marking the Golden Jubilee of World Environment Day.
The Cycling Expedition will start with Bird Watching at the Ramsar Site of Pallikaranai Marshland Eco Park at 6 am, before being flagged off.

The route is through areas of Greater Chennai to Chembrabakam and then winds through neighbourhoods that originally made Madras. The discovery trail will be an eye opener to aspects less known of both Chennai and Madras like the stoneage sites of Pallavaram and the source of Adyar River around Chembrabakam, to the Indo-British legacies of Madras, ending up at twilight by the Schmidt Memorial on Elliots Beach. Experiential Learning of Wetland Habitats and Flood Mitigation are the core takeaways from Chennai meets Madras.

Bikers can contact +91 99524 81827 to register.
