D.A.V. KRIDA KENDRAM CONDUCTS STATE LEVEL INTER-SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
D.A.V. Krida Kendram – the sports division of D.A.V. Groups of Schools, Chennai hosted the ‘Swami Dayanand Saraswati State Level Inter-School Basketball Tournament’.
A total of 29 boys teams and 25 Girls teams across the state including Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Tuticorin, Tiruvannamalai, and Salem participated in the tournament. The Tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Aadhav Arjuna, President, Tamil Nadu Basketball Association (TNBA) & Managing Director of Arise Investment and Capital Limited (AICL) who encouraged students to remain connected to sports for life.
The matches were conducted over 5 days at D.A.V. Girls School, Gopalapuram, and D.A.V. Boys School, Mogappair culminating in the Valedictory Ceremony on 16th July evening.

3rd Place: St. Joseph’s Girls Higher Secondary School (Salem)
4th Place: D.A.V. Girls Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram (Chennai)

Winners: AVM Rajeswari Matriculation Higher Secondary School (Chennai)
Runners-Up: Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School (Chennai)
3rd Place: ST. Mary’s Higher Secondary School (Salem)
4th Place: Sevalaya’s Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School (Chennai)
