Pakwan Chennai dedicates an evening to women

Women who create a difference with a small act of kindness or by being bold in preventing injustice happening are worth the recognition for the positive impact created by them. Pakwan Chennai, for the last 3 years has been celebrating these women’s work by honouring them.

Being from different walks of life and careers chosen by these women, they have ensured that the work they do has a very positive impact but create a chain of positive reaction throughout the world. This year recently a  2020 evening Pakwan Chennai dedicated an evening to them. This event was graced by many socialites of the city who were there to congratulate these women for their work.

Ms.Vanathi Srinivasan serves as the General Secretary of Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party was the Chief Guest and some of the women that were honoured during evening were Ms Ambika a very popular name among all the generations who has played amazing roles throughout the years in the South Indian cinema. She was awarded with the life time achievement award.

Ms Sanobar Sultana was honoured for her show on the radio. Popular Icon was awarded to Ms Yashika Annand. Eminent Architect Ms.Kavitha Selvaraj was awarded for Vocational Services. Ms Rathika Ramaswamy was awarded for her work in wildlife photography. For the Pravasi Ratna award Ms Sheetal Jain was awarded and many more such awards were given out.

Anil Dangi of Pakwan Chennai believes Women are the nourishing power of the universe, where they make the world come alive, they are inspiration and pillars of strength. He praised all the women in the world who are making a difference today, tomorrow and in the future.
