Mankind Pharma Ltd, as a part of its CSR initiative, conducted a Comfort and Wellness Drive at Sevalaya’s Gandhi Ashram Krishnan Memorial Old Age Home.
Prof Dr T V Sathappan, Managing Director, Dr TVS Multispecialty Hospital was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The Chief Guest donated wellness kits containing pillows, bed covers, and bedsheets to the residents of the Old Age Home.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr T V Sathappan commended Sevalaya’s service to society and expressed his desire to conduct medical camps on behalf of the hospital to benefit the home’s residents.
S Silambarasan, Area Manager, Mankind Pharma, and Senior Business Officer M Gokulavanan, Mankind Pharma also participated. They thanked Sevalaya for the arrangements and added that their organization was eager to support the residents with their medicine requirements.
Headquartered in Chennai, Sevalaya is an NGO operating for the past 36 years in school education, vocational education, children and old age homes, and rural development.
Sevalaya’s Gandhi Ashram Krishnan Memorial Old Age Home in Thanjavur houses almost 20 residents and provides all facilities free of cost to its residents.
