385th Madras Day celebration

Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science. The 385th Madras Day celebration was grandly conducted in the college campus by the Department of Visual Communication and Hotel Management of Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science, Pallikaranai, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club.

The event was graced by special guests, Mr. Boopesh Pitchumani, corporate chef, writer’s cafe and Mr. Vignesh Kannan, a film director, presented prizes to the students who won in the competitions and congratulated them.

Various competitions like painting, singing, photography, and cooking without fire were held among the students under the theme “Our Chennai.” A marathon was also conducted with the theme “Creating an Accident-Free Chennai.” The event also featured a photography exhibition and a food market organized by the students. The college principal, Dr. T.S. Shanthi, presided over the event. The event was coordinated by the professors from the Department of Visual Communication, Hotel Management, and the Rotaract Club.
