Komatsu sponsors infrastructure support to Sevalaya’s Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Old Age Home.

As a part of its CSR initiative, Komatsu, a Japanese company sponsored infrastructure support worth around Rs 7,00,000 for Sevalaya’s Old age home at Kasuva village, in Thiruvallur District.

At a function held at Sevalaya’s, Kasuva centre on 26th October 2022, Hiroshi Shirato, Plant Director, from Komatsu India Private Limited donated 15 Steel cots with mattresses, 24 ceiling fans,57  LED tube lights, 20 Steel cupboards, a mixie, 2 water dispensers, a washing machine, 10 flasks,4  Vegetable cutters,10 Hot water kettles and, steel and brass vessels.




Speaking on the occasion Hiroshi said,” Our team is working in the production of constructing machines. We are doing a lot of social activities such as tree plantation, renovation of ponds, and supporting underprivileged people. We are extremely happy to support Sevalaya’s Old Age Home to make the elders’ lives comfortable”. He advised the students to seize every opportunity in life, work hard, be successful and give back to society. At the function, Takahashi, HR Manager of Komatsu India Private Limited, and S. Kailash, Senior Manager of HR and GA, Komatsu India Private Limited also took part.

Sevalaya Students presented a cultural program at the function.
