House of Tuhil was born from a desire to bridge the gap Varsha encountered during her own trousseau shopping experience. Her husband, Jayakumar, and she realized the growing dominance of power looms and the scarcity of authentic handloom textiles. What began as a quest to revive traditional textures, motifs, and techniques has grown into a heartfelt collaboration with artisans at the grassroots level.

Every piece in this collection narrates a story of heritage, craftsmanship, and dedication. They aim to not only bring these tales to life through their weaves but also foster appreciation for the unparalleled artistry of India’s handloom traditions.
