The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Gandhi Institute of Computer Education and Information Technology Centre, located in Mylapore, is set to commence its upcoming course on computer basics. This complimentary course is designed for economically disadvantaged teens. Additionally, a specialized course is available for senior citizens. The curriculum is career-focused, featuring lessons on MS Office, Tally, and DTP.

According to the Bhavan, these courses have enabled numerous students to obtain jobs at various levels. Senior citizens are also offered a course covering Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet usage.
