Historic opening ceremony of Chellama Bharathi’s Statue
Tenkasi is gearing up for the Historic opening ceremony of Chellamma Bharathi Learning Centre and the unveiling of the couple’s statue at Kadayam on their 125th Wedding Day Anniversary on 27th June 22.
SEVALAYA has made elaborate arrangements for this grand event starting from 26th June 2022-29th June 2022 which also includes the 34th Anniversary of Sevalaya.
M.Appavu, Honorable Speaker of TN, will unveil the statue of Chellama Bharathi which traveled 3200+kms from Kasuva to Kadayam.
The various events will start off with “ Chellama Kanda Bharathi” and end with “Kadayathil Bharathi”. There are several cultural events based on Bharathi’s works during the 3 days of celebrations and the prize distribution to the winners of the various competitions held during the RATH YATRA.
SEVALAYA took up this initiative to create a Historical center for the Mahakavi in Kadayam, Tenkasi.
