As part of Independence Day celebration, Appaiya Dikshithar foundation (ADF) in association with Sreehareeyam Ayurveda (thiruvanmiyur) and Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala agency (thiruvanmiyur) jointly are conducting a free Ayurvedic camp @ Nandhini senior citizens home situated in no.87, 5th cross street, vaidyalingam salai, Neelankarai, Chennai 600115 (opp buhari hotel bus stop) on 15th August 2015, from 10 am to 1 pm.

Dr.C.L.RAMAKRISHNAN IPS [retd. DGP] is the honourable chief guest inaugurating the camp. Senior citizens residing in the neighbourhood areas in ECR shall also be benefited by this camp. Saveetha School of Law, organized an Induction Ceremony

Saveetha School of Law, Saveetha University conducted an Induction Ceremony of BA.LLB (Hons), and BBA LLB (Hons) I Year 2015 at M M Convention centre here on Friday. Prof. Dr. R. Venkata Rao, Vice Chancellor, NLSIU, Bangalore was the Chief guest. Dr.N.M.Veeraiyan Chancellor of Saveetha University presided over the function. Dr. R.Rajagopal Vice Chancellor, Dr. Deepak Nallasamy Director of Academics Saveetha University, Prof. Dr. R. Anita Rao, Director, Saveetha School of Law, were present. The First year students, their parents, current students and old students of Saveetha School of Law took part in this programme.

He advised the students to follow the rules and regulations of the institution as those are meant for the benefit of the students. The Chief Guest Prof. Dr. R. Venkata Rao congratulated the students and he stated that “Saveetha University believes in innovation and not in renovation”. He shared his personal experience with the students about the Former President Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as a tribute to him. He thanked the parents for taking responsibility in building the career of their children. He stressed the importance of 3M’s namely Biological Mother, Mother Institution, Mother India. He quoted that “Constitution is to be considered as the only holy book for all legal professionals” and he added that “Permanent values are more important than temporary values”. He emphasised that an advocate should respect values by quoting that, “How Can You Love God, Whom You Cannot See, When You Cannot Love the Human Being, Whom You See”. He eyes over a Million law graduates by 2020 with better quality and standard. Finally, he showered his blessings to all students.

Director of Academics Dr.Deepak Nallaswamy explained the innovative teaching methodology adopted by our university. The learning process carried out in Saveetha University has a varied activity based learning which includes multiple interactive learning algorithm, case study learning, group learning, problem based learning, journal discussion, extended learning etc., he concluded that the aim of every institution in the universe is to produce successful professionals.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. R.Rajagopal explained the history and facilities of Saveetha University. Further he stated that “Good habits are the seeds of better life and bad habits are the seeds of sorrow”. He said students to choose good friends and cultivate good habits.

In addition to the energy and cost saving, the Vinverth 9W Flamber LED bulb is equipped with an advanced intelligent power monitoring circuit that detects the power supply in the grid. With this technology, the LED bulb will automatically switch between AC or DC power mode enabling the bulb to stay on even when the power is disconnected, solely being controlled by the regular wall switch! This unique feature comes with no manual AC or DC switch on the bulb, or any remote or additional accessory to activate this function.

The bulb comes with a fully automatic built-in power station which powers it when the main electricity source is disconnected.

The bulb can be switched off and on as easily as you would operate when the power is switched on. The bulb can stay on in this mode for up to 3 to 4 nights depending on the hours of use or up to 25 hours in total. It gets fully charged in 3 hours once the power is back. In short, for the 3 hours of charging time, you would get 25 hours of non-stop operation.

The Vinverth Flamber LED bulb comes with an E27 to B22 converter, so it can be used anywhere in the world irrespective of the socket type, pin or screw.

The Vinverth Flamber LED bulb is highly portable. To mobilize the light source, one simply needs to remove the bulb from its socket and attach the standalone activation dock to the base of the bulb which is yet another innovation by Vinverth. This would allow the bulb to operate by itself without plugging it into any socket. This converts the bulb into a camping light, an emergency light, or even a Flashlight.

This feature adds tremendous value to the customer as it provides a large light source free from cables, electricity, and reduces the workforce required to setup an event, concerts or outdoor functions. The bulb gives freedom to operate in areas where immediate infrastructure setup is unavailable such as in disaster struck areas, road accidents, camping and trekking.

The little bulb caters to many lighting needs owing to its easy portability. It is especially ideal for gardens and parks where lengthy wiring can be avoided, and as street lighting for community livings and regular street lighting. The bulb can bring light into remote areas where regular lighting is not accessible due to the high cost of connecting these locations with their nearest available transformers.

In cases where the standalone activation dock is missing or lost, any material that can conduct a small charge can be used to complete the circuit and turn on the bulb. The bulb can even use water in a glass to turn itself on. One must take care, however, to not immerse the bulb fully for the risk of damaging the circuit.
