Contest on Thirukkural for school, college
Students Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam, the literary wing of Shriram Group, is organizing ‘Thirukkural Elocution Contest 2013’, the annual Statelevel elocution competition for school and college students in Tamil Nadu and Puduchery. The preliminary rounds of the contest will begin in Chennai and will be held in Velammal School, Mogappair, on July 28.
Contestants will be divided into 4 groups – Juniors (Std. 6- 8), Seniors (Std. 9-10), Super Seniors (Std. 11-12) and College (UG, PG, engineering, medical and polytechnic students).
Interested candidates can collect the application forms from Shriram Chits, F-41, 1st floor, 1st Main Road (opposite Chinthamani), East Anna Nagar or download it from http://www.shriramchits.com/shrionline/thirukural.html . Intersted candidates can submit application ,
The last date for submitting applications is July 25.
